Summer Vacation Guidelines for Students

Focusing on students’ daily routine during the summer vacation days, AP Model School Principal Dr. Tulasi Jyothi has offered the following advisory to students. She is appealing to parents not to allow students to go for swimming at seas, rivers, lakes, ponds, or tanks.

Since summer temperatures are high, she advises ensuring that students drink plenty of water while playing outside, and that precautions are taken to avoid going out during the peak afternoon heat hours. She explained that during the vacation, students should be kept engaged and enthusiastic through social activities such as playing with friends and family members and having meals together, to prevent them from feeling lonely. Parents are also advised to limit students’ screen time in front of televisions and mobile phones.
